The weather is finally clearing up and it’s been amazing the last couple of days! We’ve had cool mornings but by the afternoon it’s been warming up to the high 70’s so I’m in heaven again. I found this adorable floral drop waist dress and paired it with a grey over coat to keep warm in the mornings. This drop waist dress is so comfortable and versatile. You can easily wear this dress with sandals or pair it with low top sneakers for a more casual look. This over coat is another staple item. I wear this poor coat every where! I love pairing it over a dress to keep warm but it also pairs amazing over jeans and tee to dress up a casual look.
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I wanted to hurry and post another Valentine’s Day Outfit. You guys only have 10 days left so if you’re buying a dress online you better do it this weekend so it arrives in time and you can ensure it fits just right.
I personally like to stay away from Red on the big day since there are so many others wearing the color. Sometime’s I’ll go pink if I’m in the mood to be super festive, but the majority of the time I like going with an off the wall color. Last year I wore a deep purple dress that totally stood out from the sea of red and pink dresses when we went out to dinner. This year I’m totally loving this peacock velvet wrap dress! The color is amazing on its own and I love the wrap knot in the front. I also love the plunging vneck of the dress for just the right touch of sexiness. Because the color is so stunning, I kept everything else with the outfit super simple. I added taupe wraparound ankle pumps and these stunning cluster earrings.

Over Christmas I went a little crazy on Missguided’s website and I’m finally getting around to wearing all of the amazing pieces. Sadly since it took me so long to blog, the items are sold out but thankfully I’ve found some amazing dupes at much cheaper prices.
The weather is actually warming up in LA lately so I finally decided to wear this adorable marble white t shirt dress. I paired this over sized dress with this adorable pink teddy bomber jacket. I actually found a very similar pink teddy bomber jacket on Forever 21’s website for almost 1/3 of the cost of Missguided so it’s a total steal! Also this killer grey bucket bag is from Zara’s huge sale but I’ve also found a couple similar ones that are just as cute that are linked above.
I am obsessed with the L’Oréal Paris Hair Expert Extraordinary Clay Collection! I received these items from Influenster to try out, and I cannot say enough good things about them. I was very skeptical about the clay mask because I’ve tried a ton in the past and never really saw a difference. The clay mask said that it deeply absorbs oil at the roots, purifies the scalp and leaves your hair fresh and lightweight. You apply this mask to dry hair before you get into the shower and as soon as I applied the mask I could see it absorbing the oil. I was not only shocked but very happy! The only turn off of this mask is the smell, but despite the smell it works so good it’s worth over looking.
The shampoo and conditioner are also amazing! My hair is naturally long and also on the oily side. The shampoo and conditioner is perfect for my hair type because it’s made for oily roots and dry ends. This system purifies oily roots and hydrates dry lengths without weighing your hair down. I’ve used this clay system for almost 3 weeks now and I’ve seriously noticed such a big difference with my hair. My hair is less oily at the roots and my ends are never dry and frizzy. I would highly suggest this clay system for anyone who has oily roots and dry ends.
Happy Sunday Everyone! I hope you guys had a great and relaxing day. For today’s church outfit I kept things simple. I went with this adorable navy blue sheer long sleeve bodycon dress that I got from H&M. Sadly the dress is sold out but I’ve found some similar dresses that are just as cute. I love this particular dress because of the layers and different textures. A lot of long sleeve dresses have sleeves that are too tight for my arms but if I go up a size to fit my arms then they are too big everywhere else. Thankfully this dress has sheer sleeves which allows some stretch. I also bought this exact same dress in black because I loved the fit so much. I paired this navy dress with nude pumps and my go to bag.
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I decided I’d try to get a couple of fun looks together so you have time to buy or recreate them. This Valentine’s Day pink velvet slip dress is one of my favorite looks. I’ve been super into velvet lately and absolutely adore this slip dress. I recently wore a long sleeve pink velvet dress for my birthday and New Years Eve seen here. Both of these dresses are amazing and super affordable. This particular dress is from Missguided but it’s sold out. I’ve linked similar pink velvet dresses above. Since it’s been pretty chilly I added my white faux fur coat to keep warm in and completed the look with nude ankle strap sandals.
For Valentine’s Day I love getting dressed up, but it’s also important to be comfortable. This entire look is so comfortable and something that you could wear for a night out on the town to celebrate the special night. Over the next week I’ll be blogging another Valentine’s Day inspiration look, so stay posted!
Pink Cable Knit Loose Sweater: c/o Romwe
Happy Hump Day!! I hope your week is flying by and that you guys are surviving the cold weather and rain wherever you are. This Winter I stocked up on knits and sweaters and can’t stop buying them. Romwe sent me some of the cutest tops including this adorable pink cable knit loose sweater. I love this sweater because its perfect for layering on these colder days. You can also easily wear it alone like I did today for warmth without having hot flashes once you step inside. Not only is the design adorable, but it’s currently on sale for under $15! Yes, you read that correct. I love Romwe because you can score some amazing quality finds on their site.
We’ve had more rain in the past month than in the past five years! It’s been crazy, but thankfully California is almost out of our drought. I’ve never had to invest in a pair of rain boots because we normally we barely have any rain in Los Angeles. This past month I have successfully ruined almost 4 pairs of shoes or sneakers due to the rain. After ruining one of my favorite pairs of Nikes, I decided I had to give in and buy a pair of rain boots. I love Hunter boots, but they are just a little to chunky for me. Also let’s be honest, it isn’t raining that hard in LA that I need those heavy-duty boots. Instead I opted for these adorable Jeffrey Campbell rain boots! They are sleek and fashionable but also functional. They were a bit stiff when I first bought them, but as you wear them in, they get better. I love the design because they don’t look like your typical rain boots. If you don’t want to go with a heel, they also have this similar design with less of heel which I’ve linked above as well!
Thanks to the intense rain storm this morning, I wasn’t able to take pictures outside. I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to blog this adorable navy long sleeve floral maxi dress, so I snapped a couple of pictures inside, so forgive the crazy lighting. Romwe sent me this amazing navy long sleeve floral maxi dress and I immediately fell in love. I love the adorable print and the fit of it was perfect! It has an elastic waist and buttons down the front and on the sleeves. Since it was freezing this morning I buttoned the dress all the way to the top, but it also looks great partially buttoned up. I know the dress looks black in this lighting but it’s really a deep navy blue.
