Finally had a relaxing day off on Saturday and spent the morning running errands and then headed out to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was so hot outside that I kept it simple and cool. I just bought this top at H&M the other day and thought it would pair nice with white skinny jeans but today was just too hot for jeans. Instead I paired this tropical print top with a black leather skater skirt and kept it simple with gold bangles and black with gold heels as my only accessories.

Woke up in the best mood this morning, which is unusual seeing as I’ve been stressed out all week!
On top of a crazy week it’s been ridiculously hot lately in Los Angeles so I’ve been wearing nothing but shorts and tee shirts to work. Thankfully today was a lot cooler which I was so happy about, so I threw on skinny jeans a crop top and this super comfortable shirt from Urban and called it a day. No time for outfit posts all week so I resorted to taking today’s outfit picture in the bathroom, poor neglected blog!

Lately I’ve been obsessed with round sunglasses and recently came across these soft touch round cut out sunglasses on Polyvore and fell in love! These trendy sunglasses come in 6 colors and the best part about them is that they’re only $18.

Happy Mother’s Day!!
Thankful for my amazing mother who is not only my Hero, but the reason I am who I am today. Over the years my siblings and I have not made it easy for her, but despite us being brats, she’s never left our side. She’s the first person I turn to in any situation and she’s always there to guide me. She’s picked me up off the ground when I was at my lowest point and is there to celebrate with me in my triumphs. Not only is she an amazing mother, but she’s also pretty badass! She was just in G.I. Joe Retaliation and kicked total butt on the big screen. I hope one day I’m able to be half of the woman she is. She’s the best example I could have ever asked for and beyond thankful to call her my mommy. I’m also beyond thankful for all the other influential women I have been blessed with. I have the most amazing grandmas, aunts and church leaders who have guided me over the years and kept me on track. Here’s to all the amazing women out there changing lives!
For today’s church outfit I went with this pleated chiffon dress paired with Steve Madden sandals. The light was so harsh this morning when I took pictures so it’s hard to see, but the dress is two toned and so adorable. It’s also on sale right now at Urban Outfitters and is linked below.

I’m so excited to introduce you guys to this amazing shoe line that is making it’s way to the states. RANDA is a cute shoe line originated in Japan and just recently opened their world wide online store. Their line includes everything from flats and sandals to trendy heels and wedges. They have a shoe for just about everyone and the best thing about their line is that it’s super affordable!
I immediately fell in love when I saw these black sandals and had to have them! They are the perfect height, have a thick ankle strap and are super comfortable. These heels are perfect for Spring and since they’re in black can be paired with just about any look. These sandals look awesome skirts and dresses and help elongate my legs but are also perfect to dress up a pair of relaxed boyfriend jeans.

About a month ago I was on Shopbop and came across the Ash sneaker wedges and absolutely loved them except for the huge label on the tongue of the wedges. I couldn’t get passed how large and ugly the tag was and didn’t feel like wasting $200 if I wasn’t totally happy with them. So I waited a couple weeks and to my surprise JustFab released a similar pair of sneaker wedges for much less money and no ugly abel on the tongue! The JustFab sneaker wedges are a bit more boxy and lighter in color, but they are super comfortable and for the price you really can’t beat it.

Last night I headed to New Port Beach for an event and went with this white dress and black Jeffrey Campbell heels. The dress is super simple but I absolutely love the strapless plunging sweetheart neckline.
Dress is from Kaitlin Clothing, they don’t have the dress online so I couldn’t link it, sorry!
